MMU Graduate Degree Exhibition 2013

Juz drugi rok z rzedu mialam okazje zobaczyc wystawe absolwentów MMU (Manchester Metropolitan University). Wystawy kierunków- Architektura, Grafika, Moda-Tekstylia i wiele innych. Moim glównym celem byly oczywiscie wystawy absolwentow Mody. Dugi rok z rzedu sie nie zawiodlam. Prace byly bardzo inspirujace i kreatywne. Wiekszosc projektow ktore przypadly mi do gustu pochodzi z kierunku BA Textiles czyli licencjat w Tekstyliach. Duze wrazenie zrobily na mnie rowniez prace z kierunku Embroidery- czyli Hafciarstwo.

Second year in a row I had a chance to see the MMU (Manchester Metropolitan University) Graduate Degree Exhibition. Works come from courses like Architecture, Graphics, Fashion-Textiles, and many more. The main aim of my visit was obviously Fashion. Again this year I'm not disappointed. The works were very creative and inspiring. Most of the works I like come from the subject BA Textiles. The projects which also impressed me come from the course-Embroidery.

Another Year, another Summer, the same skirt

Nareszcie mamy parę dni prawdziwego lata w UK, yeeeeey! :D Jest ślicznie, cieplutko, słonecznie, ahh- idealnie :) Zeszłoroczna spódnica maxi powraca, absolutnie moja ulubiona spódnica.
W dzisiejszym zestawie połączyłam ją z luźną, lekką koszulką z milutkiej wiskozy w żywym żółtym kolorze. W tamtym roku głównie dobierałam do niej delikatniejsze barwy, podobne do kolorów spódnicy (*TU*), bądź łączyłam ją z bielą (*TU*). Nie wiem dlaczego wtedy tylko te kolory mi do niej pasowały. Tym razem postanowiłam to przełamać i mam nadzieję, że wyszło ciekawiej ;)

Finally we can enjoy the days of real Summer in UK, yeeey! :D It's warm, sunny, sweet and just perfect :) My last year's maxi skirt is coming back. Absolutely the favourite skirt I ever had. In today's outfit I wore a light, loose top with pleasant in touch viscose in a bright yellow colour.
Last year I was mainly choosing the light, delicate colours matching the colours on the skirt (you can see it *HERE*) or simply white colour (*HERE*) to go with it. I don't know why but at that time only those colours were matching for me. This time I decided to break it and I hope in this combination it looks more interesting ;)

The leather looking skirt

Kiedy ala skórzane spódniczki (glownie to polyester) zaczely byc trendy nie bardzo bylam do nich przekonana. Chyba przede wszystkim odpychaly mnie tym, ze mozna je bylo zobaczyc na wiekszosci blogow, w niemalze identycznych zestawach i bylo to do znudzenia.
Niestety padlo i na mnie i owa spódniczka zagoscila w mojej szafie! Znalazlam ja w lutym na wyprzedazy w Promod. Fajnie sie nosi, ma przyjemny material w wewnatrz i generalnie mi sie podoba :D

When the 'lookin like leather' skirts started to be trendy, I wasn't a big fan of them. Probably the main reason of it was seeing them on the majority of fashion blogs in outfits looking alike. I got bored of it.
Unfortunately after a while the trend got me as well...  I found this skirt in Feb's sale in Promod. I like the underneath fabric, I think it's pretty cool to wear and I generally started liking it :)
I got the bag on Next Sale and think it was a really good buy considering it's a real suede leather! ;)
